Thursday is dedicated devotion to Saint Jude Thaddeus

St. Jude is the Catholic patron saint of hope and impossible causes, but did you know he was also one of Jesus’ original twelve Apostles? St. Jude—one of the Twelve Apostles—is a mysterious figure in many ways. He moves in and out of the Gospel story as a quiet background figure—almost as if he were deliberately seeking to submerge his own personality in that of Christ rather than draw any attention to himself.

St. Jude feast day is October 28.
