A Catholic Prayer from the Grace from all the World’s Masses
Eternal Father,
we humbly offer Thee our poor presence,
and that of the whole of humanity,
from the beginning
to the end of the world
at all the Masses
that ever have or ever will be prayed.
We offer Thee all the pains,
sufferings, prayers, sacrifices,
joys, and relaxations of our lives,
in union with those of our Lord Jesus here on earth.
May the Most Precious Blood of Christ,
all His Blood, Wounds,
and Agony save us,
through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Amen.
A Prayer Before Starting a Journey
My holy Angel Guardian, ask the Lord to bless the journey which I undertake, that it may profit the health of my soul and body; that I may reach its end, and that, returning safe and sound, I may find my family in good health. Do thou guard, guide and preserve us. Amen.
A Prayer for Deacons and Other Ministers
Heavenly Father, since the time of the Apostles you have inspired the Church to commission certain members to assist in a special way in the pastoral mission of Christ. Bless the deacons and all other ordained and non-ordained ministers that they may be humble and faith-inspired in their service. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
A Prayer for Friends and Benefactors
O God, bountiful in forgiving,
and lovingly desirous of man’s salvation,
we humbly beseech Thy mercy in behalf of our friends,
relations and benefactors,
who have passed from this world, that,
through the intercession of Blessed Mary ever Virgin
and all the Saints,
Thou wouldst permit them to come
to the full participation of everlasting happiness.
Through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
A Prayer for Deliverance
My Jesus, by the sorrows Thou didst suffer in Thine agony in the Garden, in Thy scourging and crowning with thorns, on the way to Calvary, in Thy crucifixion and death, have mercy on the souls in purgatory, and especially on those that are most forsaken; do Thou deliver them from the terrible torments they endure; call them and admit them to Thy most sweet embrace in paradise. Amen.
